Coach Brian Loeffler has over 22 years of coaching high school and college wrestling.  This is his second year at Collierville High School.  Previously, Coach Loeffler had been the head wrestling coach of the University of Memphis Club Wrestling team.  The team was started from scratch and within those three years he produced 6 NCWA national qualifiers, an All-American and an Academic All-American.

 

From 2006-2013, Coach Loeffler coached at Cordova High School where he led the Wolves to the TSSAA state duals 6 times.  Cordova won the district championship 6 times and the Regional championship once. Cordova's overall record was 124-54.  He coached over 50 state qualifiers, 22 region champs, and 16 TSSAA state medalists.  He has has had 3 wrestlers reach the TSSAA championship finals and 1 state champion. He is a 2x Region 8 Coach of the year and in 2012 he was named the TN Coach of the Year.

From 2000-2006, Coach Loeffler started the wrestling team at Kingsbury High School and Middle School. The program is still around today and has produced 5 state medalists.

Coach Loeffler also was an assistant coach at Kirby High School and at his alma mater, Bishop Byrne.  

​

At Bishop Byrne, Coach Loeffler was a 4 year varsity wrestler and a 2x state qualifier.  He was inducted into the Bishop Byrne Hall of Fame his senior year.  He also was a 4x letterman in soccer and 2x letterman in golf.

Coach Loeffler has a wonderful supportive wife, Brooke and two wonderful kids, Nate and Kylie.  He enjoys exercising, duck hunting, and gardening

Coach Green Wrestled at Cleveland State University for 1 year before transferring to Ohio Valley University, where he wrestled for the next 3 years.

HIGH SCHOOL

State champion as a junior and senior, and state runner-up as a freshman and sophomore...won the Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award for the state of West Virginia in 2010...part of a Parkersburg squad that won the state championship in 2009 and 2010, including going 34-0 his senior season...finished his senior season with a 46-3 record...selected to the 2010 USA Wrestling National Honorable Mention Team...ranked in the top-30 in the country all four years by Wrestling USA...finished with a career record of 157-26, including 70 pins.
